Thai (泰) Food Restaurant at Medan Batu Lanchang, Penang Island

Thai (泰) Food Restaurant (N5.38947 E100.30539) is located along Medan Batu Lanchang, Penang Island, just opposite the Batu Lanchang Food Complex. My first impression of this restaurant was the 'simple' name, it tell exactly what they sell - Thai Cuisine and unlike some of the fancy name.
It's advise to park your car at the market parking area which is about 100 meter away if you drive, because the parking area is limited in front of the restaurant.

We were there quite early just to avoid the dinner crowded situation...
The friendly owner of the restaurant - Mr Choong recommended their signature dishes to us...

Our order :-
*  Pla Neung Manao (Steam fish in lime juice)
*  Deep fried pork knuckles
*  Pla Meuk Pad Gai Kem (Deep fried squid with Salted Eggs)
*  Khai Jeow Cha Om (Cha Om Omelette)
*  Tom Yum Nam Khun (with red chili pepper)

All the dishes above served with rice, authentic!

The spicy steam fish was fresh, nice and the broth was unique!
The deep fried pork knuckles was cripy outside and tender inside, juicy! It's a must try dish for us!
The salted eggs squids was delicious and tasty!
Omelette taste average and not too salty...
The red chili pepper Tom Yum was Special! The sourness and the spiciness was just right and the level!
Overall, satisfied with the dinner and thankful for the Authentic Thai Cuisine served by Thai Food Restaurant! Awesome!

The Damage : RM88.00 for 4 adults and 1 child. Reasonable price for the Yummy foods!

We will definitely visit again on our future trip to Penang Island!

Discovered the mural at Lebuh Ah Quee, Penang Island

After exploring the Chew Jetty, we continued to discovered another few murals at Lebuh Ah Quee (N5.41513 E100.33905). The murals are located once we walked into the street, that was really save us some sweats...:)

Many tourists around the area with all kind of pose...Yes, these were interesting!

There are 2 murals here : "Boy on the Bike" and "Little Boy with Pet Dinosour".

Both of them are located side by side...

Walked further, we saw another mural by the local (I think...) and it said..."Our Art Is Dying."

While you take photos of the Murals at Penang, do take note of your belonging. Because there are many peoples around the area, this was just a advise from firends...

We call it a day after these murals, there are still others murals in Georgetown that we haven't discover yet, that will be a good reason to come back before all faded...
